I just purchased a set of 18" Chrome Monoblock's for my '01 CLK 320. Currently I have a set of 19" Lowenhart LD-1 with 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear. I am a little curious as to what the same staggered setup is for the 18's
Can anyone help with the correct tire sizes? I searched the forum and came up empty.
Thanks!!

PS> I am also selling the LD-1's with the tires!!!
The first number on the tire is the tread width in mm. The second number is the percentage of tread width to create the hight from the beadseat. A 235/40 means, 235mm of tread width, 40% of 235mm is your side wall or profile, in this case the hight is 94mm. The third number is your rim diameter.
for a 8" wide wheel run a 225
for a 8.5" wide wheel run a 235
for a 9" wide wheel run a 255
for a 9.5" wide wheel run a 265
for a 10" wide wheel run a 265 or 275
The profile can be determined by the diameter of the wheel. If you run a 40 profile for 18" rim, you're going to have a 35 profile for a 19" rim of the same width. Hope this make some sense. These are all rules of thumb. Although I've seen people do some crazy things to make wheels fit. Like a 225/30 R20 on a CLK. Some people gotta have Dub's
