Im looking around for an E350 (Im new to Mercedes). I noticed the whole roof is like a big sunroof? Is there a sunshade that slides out to cover the glass like on most normal sunroofs? I have yet to see a picture with one. I hate to feel like I driving a fishbowl.
I'm guessing you're talking about the panoramic roofs? There is definitely a shade for the pano roof. There should be a button for it on the roof (same place as the sunroof opening button I suppose).

Yup, there's an "automatic" sunshade that covers/uncovers the entire sunroof in one click. The roof won't "tilt" unless the entire shade is retracted though, kinda annoying. Also, while it's perforated fabric, it does a great job of blocking out the sun/heat. i was pleasantly suprised by that.

ooh slighty off topic, but do you happen to have the car with black leather interior? is the headliner and the sunshade also black? or is it grey/beige? thanks!

Yes, I have a black interior and the roofline and sunroof cover is a light grey (more or less blends in with the rest of the roof fabric). I actually like it much better than the black (the A5 has black and I thought it was too much black on the inside). BUt I guess it's just a personal pref.

Cool! Unless they changed it for 2010, the A5 actually has grey unless you get the S-Line pkg or the S5. I was mainly trying to see the difference in heat transmission through a grey sunshade vs a black one. Thanks tho
