Hi, I have C300 2008 with 14K on it and I took my car in for a service 3 days ago because there is a whistling noise coming out of the engine. It sounds like something is rubbing against something else. I got a call from a MB dealer today and I was told that I need a new transmission! They have to order it from Germany since there is none in the States. Now I am concerned because this is a brand new car and it is less than a year old. Should I trade it in? I am afraid that I will have more problems later on. Besides I am not sure if my car will run the same since they have to take things apart in order to to put a new transmission in and to put things back and not done by robots like from the factory. Thank you for any feedback anyone can provide me!
