I was the original owner in SoCal of a smoke silver 1992 190e sportline. I turned it in after the lease was up ( I know) and moved on to bigger and better. While cleaning out some old auto records I started to think about this great car and would like to have it back if possible. Your first Mercedes seems to hold a special place.
Using carfax it was traced to Washington state, but the DMV cannot release any info as the title was recently changed to a new owner.
VIN # WDBDA29D2NF967227
Any assistance from this forum would be greatly appreciated on how to locate and speak with the new owner.

Oh man, the 190e sportline is an incredible car. I bought one from a guy back up in indiana (I live in Chicago). I found mine through autotrader and other random online searches. Just as a precaution, it took me like 7 months until I hit the beauty. (1993 with 82K miles on it) and for a sweet price and perfect condition. If anything try expanding your search beyond like 500 miles, because you know its worth going that far to get it. Cheers! and best of luck
