Can't change Avatar - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

The system won't allow me to change my Avatar image. I've tried to load all sorts of different pictures, well within the limits of the system, and a picture of a Maybach keeps showing up! Is that the default image? Why won't it let me change my image?

Did you go through 'user CP' ? Scroll past your message all the way down, and check similar posts.

Yes, I'm going through user CP. I looked at the other messages below and I see that people were having the same problem and it looks like it didn't get resolved. It is a sever side problem.

There is nothing else I can do! I go to user CP --> edit avatar --> use custom avatar --> put in a link to an image less than 100x100 or click browse and upload one from my computer. I hit "save" below and a picture of a Maybach shows up! Every time! What am I doing wrong? Please explain.

If you do it right, there shouldnt be a problem

Not only do you need to have it smaller than a certain number of pixels, but size as well.

Yes, I know that!

Please explain to me why a 50x50 4kb image will not upload. I'd like to hear your explanation. I've tried at least 10 different images, well within the limits and not a one has worked.
