Does FM Modulator working on w210 2000 E class?

Hi I try to keep my original radio and put the Pioneer Mp3 player with connect output sound via FM Modulator. is that working and will that cost any damage?<br> <br> Thanks for your help<br> <br> Jason

Yes it will work you will put your factory radio on a certain station and it will not cause any damage

FYI~~~~~in some cases your AM reception will suffer if you use a FM Modulator.<br> But there is a fix for that.<br>

There is a definite downside to RF modulators. While it is true that they work and it allows a changer to be added to any car radio, It also transmits the signal through the radio and turns the sound into radio sound with no high frquencies and no low frequencies, only midrange! The sound would be nothing like the high fidelity, crystal clear sound of a CD. Since cassettes are fading away, and CD's have been with us since the very first one in 1979 (Billy Joel), it makes sense to install CD in this lifetime! Even the Japanese cars come with compact disk! P.
