Question Command CD player stuck disk

In our new-to-us `06 E series, a CD will not eject from the single-disk player in the headunit. Any special tricks, short of taking out the headunit and opening it up, to get it to spit the CD out? I have read about the 'pull the fuse and recycle' trick for the 6 disk changer - but what about the single disk player? Thanks.

Mine just started to stop ejecting from the slot yesterday.

The eject mechanism actuates and I can see the edge of the disc. In a few seconds the
slot pulls it back in. I hate to think of what MB would charge for a new COMAND.

Is there a fix for this? I have no problem pulling the COMAND unit out if it something that
I can repair on the bench.
These COMANDs list for over $4000 and am guessing the dealer would just say replace
it.
I wonder if there is a place that I can send it to for repair.

Update, I read about dirty rollers on the single slot system on a UK site.

I have hundreds of inkjet and thermal printable discs as part of my daily ad business job.
So I took an ink jet printable disk and put electronics cleaner safe for rubber on the white printable
surface and while it was still damp I inserted the disc upside down. As the disc tried to
load I tugged it out for several cycles. Of course I got the CD Error message.
I gave the rollers time to dry and using a fresh clean disc I inserted it. It ejected every
time I tried.
So I took a a beat up old music CD and popped it in. It played well I tested various tracks
and was quite pleased.
I figured I had nothing to lose and knew I may ruin the slot loading player forever and
have to get a used one. So I do not suggest that people try this unless they want to take
the risk. I think I got lucky here.

That's exactly our problem. We are having a sat radio unit installed soon and we'll see what we can do with the headunit out. Sounds like Becker in NJ is the solution if not. There is also a vendor in Texas who repairs CD changers [fixed one for me in a BMW, reasonable cost, good service ] - I'll look for their site and see if they are an option to Becker.

Possible solution: Willman's Electronics in Texas. I sent them an email question ....
