1995 S320 CD Changer Connections

Hi, this is my first post here as I just bought my first Mercedes. I was told it is prewired to mount a CD Changer in the trunk. The person told me the wiring is under the carpet in the trunk. I have looked but can't seem to find it and I am not wanting to tear up what appears to be underlay on the left side of trunk in case it is not there. Could anyone verify or give me at least a hint as to where I should or would find the wiring setup for the connection of a changer please? The stereo does have a Cd button on it so I presume(hope) that the connections are somewhere in the trunk
Thankyou for any insight and help in this matter.

The only CD Changer you can use is OEM. A basic diagram of the 92 W140 can be found here :

So if it didn't come with a CD, you'll need a few extra cables, and connectors.

Hi,

My 1994 S500 coupe was bought with an aftermarket Alpine CD/radio.
I have sourced a Mercedes Radio/Tape unit (model 'Special') that I believe is from a 1995 car and a Mercedes CD Changer (model MC3194) from a 1995 W140 sedan.

Does anyone know the part number for the cable to connect the two?

Thank you in advance.
Shane
