Question How to use Address Book for Navigation destination

Hi,

Just bought a 2010 ML350 this week. I started by registering my BlueTooth mobile phone and uploading about 100 Contacts (with Names, Addresses, and Phone Numbers) from the phone. They work fine for making Telephone calls, but now I'm reading the COMMAND Operator's Manual, which tells me I can use the Address Book for Navigation only if the Address Book entry contains "complete navigation data". Can anyone tell me how to add "complete navigation data" to my existing Contacts?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Bob Bowman

I'm having this same issue. Does anyone have some idea how to enter "complete navigation data" in the address book?

I cannot remember details but if it is similar to the W221, I think I just had my basic address info entered to the address book and then I selected and address for navigation and the Comand asked for the missing/incomplete info and the next time it was all ready. I had to go through all addresses once.

Yeah it doesn't give the option to select a downloaded address for navigation, the Navigate menu item is grayed out. But if I enter an address from the navigation screens and save to the address book I can select Navigate for that entry. If I enter same address directly in the address book it won't let me select it for navigation.

I downloaded all my addresses into the address book, but I can't use any of those for navigation. I can't figure out what's "complete navigation data" so I can maybe fix my address data and re-download.
