I recently got a '07 S550 and have gotten a Sandisk 6 in 1 PCMCIA card and 16GB Sandisk SD card. Ripped a bunch of CD's at 320kb bit rate and loaded onto SD card. Structure is set up as artist folders>album titles>songs.
COMAND does not see the MP3's at all. I can put SD card in USB reader and computers will see and play all.
Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?
Although I don't believe the adapter matters, what's more important is how the card is formatted. Usually, they need to be formatted FAT32, as NTFS may not be supported.

Hope this helps...
FAT and FAT32 are supported. If you don't believe the adapter matters with SD HC cards, buy an old SD card adapter or read old posts from this forum, several on the W204 section.
