Im trying to find the best solution for my 2004 CLK55 to integrate my iphone and the ipod within. It has the D2B command system. Its wired for teleaid, and Im not sure if its wired for phone (it has a phone jack near the teleaid buttons in the center armrest)
Is it better to replace the head unit and start from scratch? I dont think there are any OEM parts that work for this model.

Folks have reported success using the iPhone with iPod kits such as the MB/Apple kit and the Gateway 500 for music, and the OE MB handsfree equipment for cellular communication, phone book downloads, and the like.
