I burnt a shed load of tunes last night and was really looking forward to playing them on the way into work this morning, but have experienced the following problem.
I can put the CD's in and they play no problem. The problem arrives when I try and skip forward or back to chose a different track, the unit shows the track number, but i get no sound other than the laser trying to read the CD.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? or knows how to overcome it ?
Do you have the same stereo then and don not experience this problem?
If so, what software and setting do you use to burn ya CD's please?
I used Nero and Ashampoo and have never had a problem playing them anywhere else, until now.
???
So I have a A10 head in my C, and have no problems at all playing burned audio CD's. I'm about 3k miles from home and the car, so unfortunately I can't tell you what brand media I'm using (nothing special, though - whatever I picked up on sale last..).
On Nero, make sure that the "Finalize Disk (no further burning possible!)" tick box is checked under the "burn" options, and that the "No Pause Between Tracks" on the "Audio" menu is unchecked.

Actually my experience is from an older Audio 10 on a W210 where I read many other owners too having issues with burnt CDs. The original post was for an A-class and you have an A10 at a C-class, I assume these are different units even if they are named the same? Sorry for not mentioning what I referred to.

Yeah - not entirely sure, and knowing MB, the "Audio 10" head unit is different between models but named the same...
