dvd player with 2.0 comand live wire

i have a mercedes e430 with a 2.0 comand. i have an adapter for tv, game system, and rear camera. i have a dvd player i am trying to install with the comand but i need to find a live wire. i was told the cigarete lighter wire is a live wire. it has 4 wires- 2grey, 1 brown, and 1 black w/yellow stripe. i think the 2 grey wires are for the light bulb. is the brown wire the live wire i am looking for? can someone confirm this for me. thanks in advance

Are you sure about the wire colours? Brown anyway is ground. Switched power should be on the black/yellow wire and the bulb wire should be grey/violet.

okay. i didn't know brown is always ground on mercedes. so i need to tap into the black/yellow wire for power to the dvd player. thanks for the info.
