2002 CL500 start wire?

im doing an install at my work and couldnt find info on this car in our database.

i have done other mercedes but just wanted to check with you guys on the correct wires.

does anyone know the start wire?
(usually a purple wire near a fuse box)

also if you could provide a good under dash constant and ignition that would be helpful!

It would probably help if you would describe a bit more what kind of installation work you are doing. Anyway the wire that puts the starter motor running is violet by colour and you might find it from the right fuse and relay box. But you cannot start the car by making the starter motor run.

The head unit would have constant power, the cigarette lighter would have switched power if you don't need any high currents.

my bad i instal ignition interlock devices.

they work the same way as a starter kill.

all we need is a ground wire, constant, ignition and then the start wire.
