I have a 1997 s500 coupe that i purchased used. The radio doesn't work it says - C ERROR - which according to the manual says there is something wrong with the changer. When I opened the compartment and took the changer out it was water damaged. I disconnected the changer and still can't get the radio to work. It's not asking me for the code and even when I enter it in, it doesn't do anything. How can I bypass the CD changer and bring the radio/cassette player back? Any help would be great!
