I had no luck with this post in the W220-thread, so I'll try it here..

Stereo installation
Hi! I just recently bought a '00 S320CDI with Comand, but found that this car doesn't have the cd changer installed. I decided to buy a DVD player so that I can play cd's and dvd's on my system. I fitted the unit to the glove compartment, but when I started to hook it up, I found that the original head unit doesn't have any inputs?
I've spent the last 3 hours searching this forum for answers, but haven't quite found what I'm looking for. Here's the problems:
I want to connect the external DVD-player to the cars original HU. I found in a thread that I can hardwire an auxiliary input, and there I can connect the dvd-player's audio outputs. But how can I connect the video output? I recide in Norway, so I have a European version of the Comand 2.5, with the TV-button. I would like to be able to watch DVD's on the original screen, and I've figured out that I need an aftermarket video adapter? I've searched ebay for this, but haven't found something I can use.. Could someone point me in the right direction?
Also, I would like to connect a sub through an external amp. But where can I get the signals from? I don't have the Bose system, and I didn't find any wires or optical cables in the trunk. Can these be hidden somewhere, or is there a possibility that this hasn't been fitted to my car?
I'm kinda confused and would appreciate any help I can get!
