I have the steering wheel buttons to hangup/answer a phone call, the phone button the left hand side of the steering wheel when you use the scroll option to check mph, engine oil etc. I also have a tele button by my radio.
There is also a wire that is in my console. It looks like there is a factory plastic plug that covers the adapter in the console?
I was curious what would be needed in order for my Treo to work with my mercedes. I am unsure of what Treo I have. On the left hand side it says PalmOne and then Treo on the right. My Treo has bluetooth.
I was searching and I kept hearing the term Puck being used. Where can I obtain one of these?

I assume you are from the US? Looks like you have the UHI/MHI connector, meaning you have the full phone kit, excluding a cradle/BT puck.
For your Treo I believe the BT puck is the only option. Could see other posts on how it works with the MB BT setup (should work for telephony, the phone book download is an issue for some phones).
Ok, I was looking at that adapter earlier. It looks like its $348.
Thanks for the info. I will double check and make sure the wiring in the console is for the telephone. Mine isnt located on the right hand side of the console. The wiring is located towards the front of the console. I haven't even removed the plastic cover where the wiring looks like it is located in the console to see if its defiantly for the phone.

I realised from your post title that you are talking about a 2003 car. We did not have UHI in Europe before 2004 I believe, so double check the connector, as you said you would. Also see AWS info for your car.
Take a look at Figures 22-24 at http://phdwebsite.powerpulse.cc/Phon...Coupe%2003.pdf, which is the phone bulletin for your car. If you do not have the cradle in the pictures, you likely do not have the hands free system installed. Figure 24 shows a V60 phone in the cradle; you may not have the phone.
However, if you do have the equipment installed, you need a V60 puck and a compatible phone. The puck will be inserted where the phone would be.
If you do not have the equipment installed, see posts 1, 3, 6, 7 and 9 at http://www.benzworld.org/forums/audi...bluetooth.html, and refer to the phone bulletin for your car. Be aware that if you must install the equipment, a new V60 cradle is out. You will want that; it is mentioned in the string. If you already have a cradle, you do not have to replace it.
