Ipod intigrator for 08 c300/c350

I wanted to see if anyone has bought one and got it hooked up to the base radio? I see on the site it is only for the Multimedia but found a dealer who has the kit and isn't sure if it will work with the base radio?

Do you mean the regular 'ole ipod kit that allows you steering wheel controls that some of the cars came with?

Yes, that can be added on. However, if you do it yourself, it involves removing the head unit, and getting the cable over to the glovebox and everything.

I'm also wanting to do this, but want to find more instructions first.

And don't forget... IF the 204 doesn't have a factory fitted phone, the phone menu in the IC must be activated with stardiagnose.

thats only for 2007 and earlier.. the 2008 all have bluetooth built in so no sds activation is needed. There is however the original issue of low volume if you install the ipod on the non MM radio which has to be solved with the little add-on amplifier.
