Wonder if someone could help...I have a 2007 CLK-350. No premium package. No NAV.
I've heard there's an ARGOS product that will allow me to hook up my Motorola RAZR via Bluetooth to the car's audio systems (speakers and mic). Does anyone know anything about it? How about installation...any instructions available?
One of the sites that popped up in my search had installation manuals for the D2B version. I believe the MOST manual wasn't available yet (the MOST version was just released). I didn't bookmark it.
I don't remember the site, sorry. It was a vendor site, and it was not EuroCarPhone.
And actually, if I have a page bookmarked I'll usually provide it; but when it comes to forum searches and web searches, I prefer to let folks do their own work - which is what I'll do here.
Ok....I' ve read through all this fantastic info and I am still not sure what I have or what I need. I'm slow on the techno stuff.
Just bought an 03 E320. When I open the center console, I see what appears to be the cradle (?), but there is no handset on top. Is all I need the puck to get bluetooth in the vehicle?
Is there any hope for 1999 s420 owners? I have a smart pc htc 6800. want to use the bluetooth connection for car/phone intagration
There is hope, but I cannot guarantee certainty. Contributor Jay Gibbs on MBWorld just successfully retrofitted his '99 W210 with an Autosense PSE and V60 puck. Some '99's were manufactured with analog-only StarTac PSEs, which have connectors that are entirely different from the later digital/analog StarTac PSEs. Later-manufactured cars had the connectors for the digital/analog PSE - these can be upgraded to the Autosense PSE and a V60 puck configuration.
The changeover in equipment seemed to be in June 1999 for the W210. I do not know the cutoff sates or equipment cutoff dates for the W140. European manufacturers often update equipment throughout a model year, rather than awaiting specific dates for a new "model year."
The U.S. W220s should be compatible with the Autosense/V60 upgrade as discussed at the top of this string.
If you are able to fit the Autosense PSE, Bluetooth cradle, and Bluetooth puck, you will still need a compatible phone, as discussed near the top of this thread at post #7.

You're in luck. Assuming you are in North America, your '03 E320 would have been equipped with a V60 phone and cradle. All you should need is the V60 puck and a compatible phone (see post #7 in this string) and you're set. Be sure to read the initial setup and pairing instructions.
Filling out the rest of your profile will be helpful in responding to future questions. The answer may be different for European and for Asian specification cars. We would prefer to write one accurate response rather then guess, and write 3.
