[quote=Icecobra;3636915]A quick note... I did a upgrade on my 94 E class and it was a simple part from my MErcedes dealer. It plugged in to the tele aid system under the center console arm rest. It was 4 torx screws and then plug it in. It came right up and I have full blue-tooth compatability, and phone directory download. My phone is a LG Dare touch screen, mt wifes added no problem and it is a Samsung. Both worked perfectly. The down side the dealer tried to convince me it was a 2 hour job and he would need the car for sometime to get this done. I informed him to bring the part out and I would show him how to do it. The good he had a porter go get a torx driver and did it for me at no charge. We made sure it worked before I left. Contact me if you need any help to get this done. It is not a cradle but an adapter to make the command system work with blue tooth. Thanks ( I owned a stereo shop in California for 5 years and I am pretty good with car electronics.)[/QUOTE94 SHOULD READ 04 sorry I am no typist.....

I can confirm only the two phones I have at this point I will see if I can find a friend or neighbor that may have one I can test with.. It is the simplest upgrade they are two small torx screws at the rear of the upper armrest section reove them. Then remove two on the underside the small ones, leave the big ones.. Then the tray of the upper armrest setcion will lift upwards. Look underneath for a plug in lloks alittle larger than a phone plug connector. Thats where the puck with the dongle or pigtail will plug in to. My dealer let me test that my phone worked before charging me for the part. On the official website from wireless mercedes it does not say my phone will or will not work, but it does.. I will attempt to find someone with a Nokia phone to try.. Thanks
Does anyone have any experience with the MB2 and a 2008 ML 350, I am trying to get a LG env3 to pair and download the phone book to the command. The MB puck won't do it.
I have what I think is the newest MB bluetooth appliance in an 08 ML350 and I was able to sync up a ENV3 with all the features supported. I will try to get the model number of the puck as you call it and post it here.
I have been trying to get my ML350 and LGenv3 to pair up, and send the phone book to the command screen, I have had no luck with the (2)MB Bluetooth adapters, I now have the LGenv3 working great, got a Viseeo MB2. It connecects every time, quickly sends the contact list, and disconnects wher I am 10 or 12 feet from the car. It Just works great.
skylaw:
recently i bought a 06' ML350 Japanese spec in Malaysia...
the centre console have a wire connector to a phone. wondering whether it is possible to connect a bluetooth puck to it... thnx
was told by the dealer that the car is prewired for telepone
I have just purchased a 2003 SL500. The MB technician i had check out the car said it has a V60 cradle in it - and all I need to do is add the "puck". So I go to buy the puck from the parts department.... to be told by the Parts guy - "this only works on a few phones... don't know if it will with yours".
I have a Blackberry Curve (8310 - ATT carrier).
In reading through a lot here... I THINK that maybe this should work the way the tech said.... Am I missing anything here? It sounds too easy... my daily driver car ('97 BMW 740iL) took a bunch of rewiring to pull this off with integration into the auto... and about $1000... (but then again - did that about 4 years ago... things probably easier now)...
My first post - and first day owning car... be gentle
