My PSE is 9I guess from the forum) CTEL Q6 82 20418, ans next to it is Voice module not sure what the number but I think the same as the guy in the forum. And the phone is the same as in the forum.
Since that post has not been updated for so long does anybody know is connectors would mach if I would get universal or Autosense PSE ??? I am trying to convert to Bluetooth system.
So what is you have 2 phones with you in the car. Can you use both??? (not at the time)
Talk on one and after talk on another one ???
No. The newer Bluetooth pucks will allow pairing of up to four phones, but only one at a time. They will search for the last one paired, and if not found, the next-to-last, continuing back to the first one, and starting over. Older pucks would allow only two; and the RAZR Bluetooth/combo cradle allowed 4, but all had to be RAZRS.

Ramunsa, I have to stand by what I wrote in response to the question in the link. Your PSE is for the oldest handsfree system used in the W220, predating the StarTac. I believe its actual part number is Q682 0418.
The question you may have to ask your dealer is whether a Universal PSE will fit your car. If it will, the go the Universal PSE/cradle eliminator/V60 puck route. The dealer will be able to provide the parts at a fairly reasonable cost, as discussed in the writeup, if the Universal PSE can be used.
The OP in your link did not respond, so we do not know how things worked out.
I am trying to use a LG enve3 and am having trouble, the puck is a #5878, the phone pairs correctly, but the phone book does not load to the command, and the phone has to be re-connected each time I get back into the car, It won't connect by itself. I have used this puck with the razor and Moto Q without any trouble. The system is Verizon. Can anyone help with this one? I have tried to search re: the Enve3 but can't find anything.
Thanks.
Philip
I cannot say for sure, but the firmware on some phones just isn't compatible with MB systems, and will not provide a full feature set - something I wrote about in post (permalink) #6, above.
jms54,
There may be third party Bluetooth solutions available through the phone service provider. Alternatively, many portable nav systems now also provide Bluetooth capability (the Garmin Nuvi 885t, for example). The 885t will provide voice instruction and phone conversations over the car's audio system via FM rebroadcast if you wish; and it offers a traffic avoidance subscription service as well. There are other models of the Nuvi, and other brands besides Garmin, that provide similar features. I recently bought an 885t for my restoration project (a '78 450SL) because 1) nav systems in my car and my wife's car have spoiled me; 2) I don't want to be caught running around in a restoration project that has broken down, and not have a cell phone with me - and the unit is a visible reminder to carry my phone; and 3) the 450SL is noisy enough that its built-in speaker just isn't enough under some conditions.
The cheapest solution for you may be a good BT headset/ear piece, however.
Does anyone have a link to the instructions? The manuals with the car are no help. I was able to get other bt devices to work except in my 05 CL. I just bought the puk and connected it to the already-installed contact in the armrest. How do you actually PAIR your phone? Where are the step by step instructions?

The MY ’03-’04 E Class and ’04 S-Class were equipped with a PSE that combined the Tele-Aid and cell phone support equipment into one unit called the CP-211. All that is necessary in these cars is to “activate” the cell option with STAR diagnosis, and add the proper V60 cradle (kit Q 682 0882 for the S-Class; Q 682 0828 for the ’03 or ’04 E-Class). In addition, the E-Class phone bulletins indicate that a linear compensator and cable are necessary (only for plug-in operation, I would add), and the ’03 E-Class requires an Audio 50 firmware update.
Once the activation is done, a Bluetooth “Puck with Tail” is used for cars with a cradle. This puck differs from the puck used in other ’00-04 cars.
In addition, the new "Cradle replacer" as discussed in the two preceding posts and V60 puck can also be used with the CP-211 platform; this is a particularly easy solution if the car does not already have a V60 cradle.
A caveat for owners of cars other than the E-Class and S-Class discussed in this section: The V60 cradle for the '03-'04 E-Class and '04 S-Class does not use the same connectors as the V-60 cradle for other models, and it should not be substituted unless you can get the adapters that are necessary. In addition, I have no idea what the outcome of adding a CP-211 PSE to an earlier car that still had its original Tele-Aid equipment in place. Although it may be possible to take the OE Tele-Aid out of the fiber optic loop, I don’t know if the CP-211 can be made to work in installations for which it was not designed.
A quick note... I did a upgrade on my 94 E class and it was a simple part from my MErcedes dealer. It plugged in to the tele aid system under the center console arm rest. It was 4 torx screws and then plug it in. It came right up and I have full blue-tooth compatability, and phone directory download. My phone is a LG Dare touch screen, mt wifes added no problem and it is a Samsung. Both worked perfectly. The down side the dealer tried to convince me it was a 2 hour job and he would need the car for sometime to get this done. I informed him to bring the part out and I would show him how to do it. The good he had a porter go get a torx driver and did it for me at no charge. We made sure it worked before I left. Contact me if you need any help to get this done. It is not a cradle but an adapter to make the command system work with blue tooth. Thanks ( I owned a stereo shop in California for 5 years and I am pretty good with car electronics.)
