I concur with the above. I have a 2007 SL and the mute-phone-serv procedure doesn't bring up any menu. I also would appreciate any current model year codes...thank you
Hi guys. At last I got the solution !!! . It was so simple. It's a little instrument to connect through the usual slot to the optical ring. In about 1 minute the job is completed and it can be disconnected. Easy. They say it's permanent. It works just fine. I think that it can be found everywhere (U.S.A., U.K., Germany....)
I don't like to spread the information everywere. I have the idea that if the key sequence had not been spreaded , may be M-Benz wouldn't change the engineering mode entry point so soon. So all the friends of the forum needing this information can write to flavio.morosi@tiscali.it. I'll reply as soon as possible.
I have the new E-class 2006. And none of the unlocking codes work for getting into the engineering mode but i took the car over to my mercedes dealer and asked if he could "open" the comand system so that the codes would work. it took about ten minutes he hooked the computer up and bingo now it works, they take a small fee for unlocking the command about 1-20 pound here in Denmark......
What does the "mp3 play" give you - does it allow the COMAND to play a CD of MP3 files? Does it show the tag info from the MP3 file (artist, title etc)?
Hi all,
I too would like to let my passengers watch TV whilst I drive. Has anyone had any luck with a "work-around" to disable the lock whilst driving. Vikingprince's solution did not work for my car.
