Hi - sorry if this has been discussed somewhere - I searched but did not find any relevant information for my case. I have a new C230 with the bluetooth handsfree phone integration - it works great except my contacts in the phone are not accessible. Any input on how to make that part work?
BTW, I'm coming from a Beemer and have to say the new Benz is a great car...
I use a 6210 in a '2006 E200CDI with UHI Bluetooth and this worked for me:
1. Dial "0000"
2. Press the key to send the call
The phone gets disconnected, but in the next connection it takes a while and downloads all the contacts.
Please say if it works for you.
Greetings from Spain !
This sounds like an oversimplified answer from AWS. Nokia 6230 does support phonebook download, it works on the cradle and it works over BT (e.g. with a N616 car kit). This must be a compatibility issue with the two devices, difficult to say which one is "guilty". Of course it doesn't help a lot if phone book download is basically supported if it doesn't work with your car configuration. Perhaps AWS could push for a fix for the MB BT puck to reach compatibility with the Nokia 6230 implementation.
