Reinstalling Becker Grand Prix - need help - Benzworld.org

I've re-installed the original Becker Grand Prix stereo for my 1977 450 SL and I'm only getting dashes instead of the station identification... and no sound whatsoever.

Any ideas...

I had the same problem with my 1988 560 SL ...becker grand prix...called MB customer service also... finally called my friend at the dealer...dealers has a code resetter...first pull the face plate ...then you need to insert a chip card (with red and green buttons on it) which the dealers have it ...then turn the key and it is done ...just take less than 2 minutes

I don't have a friend at a Mercedes Dealer... looks like I'll have to visit the nearest dealer and start a friendship. I wonder how much it costs if I have to pay?
