I wonder if Anturage would like to post some tutorials/info how to get radio codes if lost ?
P.S: There are many programs on the net available for dl .
I haven't seen a calculator working from the VIN, only from the radio serial number and Anturage can do both. I should not talk for him but I assume he's got the exact same information as dealers have (he may be a dealer or working for a dealer).
A tutorial could be fine but it should be made freely available, that would hurt us who don't need the code (thieves can steal our radios and sell them with the correct code). If you could make this info available for those forum members who own an MB and need the code for real, those who are not sending their code request as their first message on the forum, that would be OK but I don't see how that could be organised.
I understand that a code request is a good reason to search the web and join the forum and joining the forum should not be discouraged. Good ideas to handle this must be welcome.
