Hi,
I own a 2003 E279 W211 to European Specification.
It's got the Navi Commnad APS, a CD Changer and an AUX jack in the globebox.
What is the best solution to integrate my brand new iPod 30GB?
Many thanks

From what I can gather, there are 2 main options. To be able to listen to the music on the iPod, you can spend £1 and buy a 3.5mm stereo jack to 3.5mm stereo jack wire.
Alternatively, to be able to control the iPod through Comand and scroll with the steering wheel buttons etc, add another £249 and get an integration kit fitted.

the jack is a standard 3.5mm miniplug ( stereo).
You can connect any device to it, it only plugs into the back of your command and sends the audio signal from whichever device you have plugged in to it.
YOu have to select audio fron your command. It should work of it's plugged in to the back of the command. That's all there is. unless your device has the volume down....Just to double check...., oherwise, it will work.
