The electrolytics in both the amp and tuner dry out and short (there are a lot, you should replace them all), sometimes they take the foil with it. There are seven amps that feed eleven speakers. If you are trainded to work on printed circuits and have tools and experience, you can probably fix it otherwise there are places that rebuild them and give you a warrantee
