Just a word of thanks to Skylaw for his post on burning DVDs with Toast on Macs, it works ! First time round I burned a DVD using OS X, and saw just the first folder, 2nd time I used Toast and followed his instructions. The whole business is pretty weird, as if Comand is run by a team chained down to techniques that were extinct 10 years ago. Now to get my iPhone to hand over its address book...
I've got a B200 (2007) with a COMMAND system. I've burnt a MP3 CD with a few folders on it, however the COMMAND system doesn't recognize the folders and just displays ALL the tracks as if they were in one folder.. is there a trick or am I missing something here?
Perhaps if you et us know what software you're using for your burns, someone could help you. Prior posts in this string address quite a few of the software issues.

I'm using Roxio Toast on my mac - burning the MP3 files (tags removed) - as a data disk. Single session ('write disc')
It reads fine in the 6-disc changer but no folders, just all files listed. Doesn't read at all when put in the single slot where the navigation DVD normally sits.
The navigation DVD reader was not made to read music disks of any kind.
I also use a Mac, and Toast (8) - I find it easiest to create a folder in Toast, then drag the songs I want into that folder. You can, of course, create multiple folders in Toast itself. The folders show up that way, at least on the mp3 DVDs I have made.
When I have dragged individual playlists into Toast, without creating a folder first, the songs simply show up as a list as you described.
The "new folder" command may not be available until you have put a blank CD or DVD into your burner. Once it shows up in Toast, you can create the sub-folders you want.

I'm burning to a CD right now, perhaps that explains the lack of folders. In anycase, I'm using folders - not playlists. I'll have a go at making DVDs tomorrow, let you guys know the outcome.
Forgive me if this is an obvious question, I'm a newbie . I have a 2001 S-Class W220 and was wandering if this thread even applies to that COMAND system. I know the in dash GPS-CD doesn't play audio CDs, but does it play MP3-CDs?
I am curious, because I don't have a CD changer, so it would be helpful if I can swap out the GPS-CD for a MP3-CD.
