Most of what I could offer you has been covered in this string. Regardless of whether you are burning mp3 or AIFF, the information on burning in the Disk At Once mode, and the specifics of the myriad of software have already been covered.

You may get more specific information if you posted the software you're using to burn the discs.

Your problem is likely in one or more of several selections you must choose in your software. I suggest you carefully review the help file for it.

If we knew what kind of computer or OS you are using, it would help to answer the question.

Many suggestions have already been posted in this string regarding software for each type of computer. For the Mac, I prefer Toast 8. No suggestions on Windows.

DVD’s Not Recognized

Similar to Pat (Post #120 of this thread), my COMAND Unit recognized MP3 CD’s without a problem. But DVD’s are not recognized at all. No error, just a grayed out option when I select Audio. The “Compact Disc” logo appears (http://www.dualelectronics.com/logo_compact_disc.gif ), then a minute or two it spits the DVD out.

I use DVD+R’s. I burn the CD/DVD’s with Nero; but I don’t think that’s the problem since I use the same method for CD’s and DVD’s and the CD’s work fine.

I have a 2008 CLS550 with P1, AMG Sport Package, iPod and Parktronic.

Please help…this is driving me insane!!

Thanks.
Basil

Your Owners or Audio system manual addresses formats compatible with your system. Give it a read.

Manual says the single slot does CD and the optional changer supports MP3.. However, I am getting the impression after reading this thread that it's not always the case..

so I am still trying to get a definitive answer.

Knowing the year and model of your car, and where you are located (so that we know whether your car is U.S., European, or Asian specification) might be useful to the forum.

That's why we post that information under our avatars.
