I can play mp3 in my changer, but the Audio 50 APS does only show Track 1etc, and no cler name of melody or so. I have asked severeal people, even at MB, but nobody has given me a real answer, they seem not to know if Audio 50 APS is possible to give the information about names of melodies.

Anybody here who knows?
Correct. Only "Track #" is displayed. I have yet to see ANY evidence of actual song filenames for the Audio 50 APS (or non-APS Audio 50 units).
OK, thanks for your answer. I must say that it is very poor of MB to sell such a rather expensive product without such a common feature, wich all cheap mp3-players have. Sometimes one wonder.......how is the other parts of the car. They should be in the front not behind ......hmm.
Very few mp3 or Cd players will handle multisession discs. If you burn multisession, it is likely the only one recognized is the first burned. As this string has recommended a number of times, you should be burning DAO (Disk At Once).

Use iTunes. It's free and it works great in my 05 SL500. Burned 5 discs so far with an average of 155 songs on each one. No need to remove ID tags or anything else. Titles show up fine on the HUD and on the COMAND unit.
i have bought a 01 C220 CDI WITH THE MB AUDIO PLAYER 10. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT FORMAT OR HOW I CAN BURN MY MP3 SONGS ON CD AND PLAY THEM IN MY CAR????.
You will need to read your vehicle manual and see if your systems accepts MP3 discs. If it does, download iTunes and follow the instuructions in the "help" section. Or check with your friendly service manager at MB if you don't have a manual.
I believe you are limited to the .AIFF format - the file format used in original CDs. You can compile your own CDs, but I do not believe your '01 Audio 10 will recognize the .mp3 format at all.
You can burn CDs with the AIFF format with most music software, including iTunes and Toast on a Mac, iTunes for Windows, and other Windows software mentioned in this string.
Hi thanx for the help but i am still unable to play my MP3 on my cd player. I converted the music to AIFF and burned it on a cd-r. But when a put it into my cd player there is no sound all it says os track 1. Any suggestion would be grateful
