I had Sirius installed about a month ago...and I'm still in shock about how mercedes put the sirius antenna on my car...they DRILLED a whole in the trunk lid and put this POS antenna on the trunk..no one told me they were going to drill a hole in the trunk...I've seen other satellite antennas - on bmw's - they look sleek and sophisticated...not a black box...and that is what I thought MB was going to do.
I told the dealer they shouldn't even sell something that looks that bad and put it on one of the most expensive cars they sell....I think I'm going to have them replace the trunk lid - not repair - but replace...the car is way too valuable to have that stupid antenna on it...they want me to wait 60 days because mb will have a "solution"...love the sirius radio - but not enough to have the damage to the car...anyone else have this experience???..
I thought the SL and the CLk has hidden antennas under the trunk lid.
