Someone please help me out.
I replaced my stereo wit pioneer in dash tv. Unfortunately I had to omit the factory subwoofer and amps.
They are under the back "seat" or compartment I dont know what it is called. Anyway what I am trying to do is put aftermarket amps and a new subwoofer or two.
I want to try to put them in the same place as the old ones were or atleast fit the subwoofers in there.
Did any of u guys ever do this or know how big in size is the factory subwoofer in 500 sl is.
Anyone got pics of their mods in their mercedes sl 500 or 600 so I get any good ideas.

If you know where the sub is, just go to it and measure it. Than take it out and see how much depth it has, and find a sub that is like it to fit it in there.
I think it would be much easier for you to just build a custom box for your sub. If your not welling to go back there and just get measurements then you might be screwed either way.[8D] I am pretty sure it is not that hard to get to the sub and get the measurements..
