Is this a good place to have a benz checked out before I buy, I found a 2002 S55 AMG and I want it looked over before I purchase to make sure nothing is wrong with it. I would prefer to take it to a small shop, but I will take it to the dealer if I have too.
Thanks for the recommendation. Wonderful fast efficient service. And Kaya is a real "character." The price was right and much less than the dealer. And to top off the whole thing he is right in my neighborhood. No more treckking for me. 2006 E350 4Matic wagon

Kaya has done work for me many times. Small shop but very efficient! He is also a member of the local Mercedes-Benz Club of America. He has a BP store as well in front of the shop.
I have used Eurofix off of I64 a couple of times. They are top notch on repairs, but touch and go on pricing. For example, replacing the engine wire harness was $275, but a brake/rotors job is $800. They are good, but can get expensive.
Erol's Autobahn is the only place to go for Mercedes work in the greater Nashville area. I've been using Erol and Varkas for 20 years, driving across town from Brentwood just to use their service. They make owning these machines affordable, they're friendly and honest.
I agree that Erol's is the place to go. Erol Baycora has been servicing my cars for almost 10 years. He makes having an older Mercedes very affordable and can typically find reasonable solutions to whatever happens.
They are not BlueTec folks!!!!!!!!! They can only do routine maintenance stuff on anything semi-current. If you are driving any older stuff, they may be good, but BlueTec- they are worthless!!!
About to send my daughter off to Nashville (second year at Belmont Univ - Vanderbilt area) in a recently acquired 2000 E320. Everything is in tip-top shape currently but we're planning ahead for when issues come up. Have read the recommendations... are they still current? Looks like Kaya's and Erols are the usual picks. Simply looking for competency and fair pricing. THANKS
I recently took an 06 E55 to Erol's for a pre-purchase inspection. Erol himself ran the diagnostics, test drove the vehicle and put her up on the hoist and had two other employees join him in inspecting the vehicle. After they gave their blessing, I purchased the vehicle and promised them my business after such a great experience. When I took the vehicle in for routine service Erol remembered me and was extremely pleasant to do business with. He knows I cherish my car so when they were done with it he parked it in a separate lot so it didn't have the chance to get dinged, that's customer service.
Glad to see the recommendations here. I just purchased a used MB and have been hoping I could find a local, honest, good value mechanic. Erol seems like the guy for me.
I also recommend Eurwerks. This was my go to place over the last 3, maybe 4 years. These guys truly know their Benz'. Fair and honest pricing. I've sold my Benz, but I'm in the hunt for a replacement.
I am just moving to Hendersonville from the Chicago area. Does anyone have a recommendation of a great shop? I was really spoiled with the place I had here in Chicago.
Erol’s Autobahn. Hands down. I’m shocked to hear you were spoiled in Chicago. Also originally from the Midwest, prices were steep and I was spoiled by a service manager at the Dealership until he got fired for helping people out.
Had my first experience with Erol's who did the Service A for me. Great interaction, fair price and Erol helped me plan some work on my convertible to minimize the cost. Great guy, plan on giving him all my CLK work.
Erol unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago. He was a great guy, helped me out all the time. I don't know what the future plans are for the shop. He was the best MB mechanic in TN. Erol Baycora: Memorial and Celebration of Life
