Since model year 2000 some radios have a CAN bus connection that connects to the steering wheel control, display in instrument cluster, and to speedometer signal. This being the case you can no longer just cut the wire for the speedometer signal. Somebody recently said on one of the boards that the dealer can change the amount of volume change. That could be the fix for your if it is in fact correct information. |
