Hi
Got a W124 and was wondering if someone can help me with an offset query I have.

The owners manual recommends an offset of ET 41 for 7in wide rims

What offset margin do I get to play with when shopping for some rims? In otherwords, I want to know the greatest margin of width allowable for a standard W124 between the hub mounting surface to the wheel arch and the hub mounting surface to the body
