as long as you had your vehicle serviced for that particular problem within the first year of purchase or 12,000 miles you are protected. You don't have to bring the vehicle in 3 times during that period. The key is it must be brought to the attention of the manufacturer at least once before the end of that period. The number of attempts is 3 times and then the problem may go to abitration. Also if the vehicle is being repair for 30 or more days same thing, arbitration.
