I have a '95 S600, and just bought a new battery for my entry key from the local dealer after I bought the car a few months ago. I don't remember how well the old battery worked, but I do know that the remote access button must be pressed for a few seconds to open or lock the doors, and I always have to be fairly close to the car for it to work. I'm wondering of all these transmitters require such close distances to work (less than 10 feet)? |
