I've got one. It's the spare out of a 1979 280CE. It's got road tar specks, looks like it was used once, I posted it here a few days ago. Bridgestone Turanza EL50 tire which still holds air, I believe it is the original. Looks new, but Mercedes didn't do a perfect job of painting it, it has swirls. But there isn't any paint edge, i.e. it's not a repaint. Just a sloppy factory job. The red dot is there. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Where are you?
The same car still has two rear Bundts on it which are not mint, but pretty close, no curb rash.
Sorry I was not more specific... I need a set of 4 bundt wheels. Prefer 15" will take 14". Will also take in refurbished condition as long as they look mint no damage. Thanks!
Well, I could take the two rears off the 280CE, plus a couple which are for sale at a local lot which look just as good. They're undamaged, no corrosion, original finish not repainted, perfectly clean, but not "mint." But you could paint them. All are 14-inch. 15-inchers do pop up from time to time, but they're expensive. These, if you pay me (see next post), it'd be worth my while.
I don't know if it helps since I know you are wanting a set, but I have 1 of these wheels. No tire, but in good shape. I'd sell it for $25 + whatever shipping is. If you are somewhere in or around Texas, you'd be welcome to pick it up.
From W107 SL...you can run 215/70..nice upgrade for a 123/116/126...I have a set that will want repainting..
