Eat Sh** Bimwad, The M3 didn't outhandle the C36/C43, the main complaint with C36 was automatic, and with C43 the harsh ride (Detroit muscle car ride), but not handling. C43 was uncatchable after 100mph by all other cars, had beautiful interior (compared to shitty dated interior in M3. Remember E55 AMG was rated at 5.4 to 60, but in reality came in .1 of a second to 60 slower than M5. I wouldn't say BMW outdoes Merc in terms of handling. I've read reviews where it said the Mercedes e55 actually handled and steered better than M5, although they ranked M5 first because it was more a pure drivers car. New S-Class (S500) is faster than 750il and can outhandle it w/o virtually any body roll. Fit and finish/styling are no comparison to BMW especially in new models - The new C makes the 3 look bland, while the C is stunning in comparison. Fit and finish were never a BMW hallmark. I was disgusted when I got in a 98 328i, and could see the exterior color of the car on the inside of the door frame around the window glass (I was floored - Honda has a finish like that as well). <p>In conclusion, I don't want to go on on, but get the fuck off this board you yuppie Bimmer p.o.s Watch your company get sucked in by Ford or GM - haha |
