| In the Silver Sate Classic the cars legally run much higher speeds over 90 miles of US 318. Last year I ran my car at an average speed of 110mph with a "tech speed" (allowable top speed) of 124mph. If I do the 125mph run the tech speed is 140mph and not much mods for the car other than the 6 point belt. At 130mph (which needs a roll bar) the tech speed is actually 165 - way more than my car do when limited. (FYI the fasted cars averaged around 190mph!!)
