| Transmission Work done. What you guys think
A Week ago I noticed little transmission oil leak around electrical plug area. Thought it would be easy and inexpensive fix but things turned out differently because of over tightened screw in the middle of connector plug, solution new electro module ( conductor plate ) and new connector.
Went to eurobahns auto repair (Indy) they charged me $525.00 including parts and labor for the following
1) Electrical connector plug replaced
2) Electromodule ( conductor plate) module replaced
3) Fresh MB transmission oil and filter change
After all the work transmission shifts smoother and no hesitation. I never got the idea why does MB say that transmission is closed system and no oil change or service needed. I am glad that I am good for another 40k or 50k. |
