Difference in 603 Injection pump Non-turbo and Turbo?

Hi,

In my GW300 460 1981 I am replacing a 617 non-turbo with a 606 non-turbo and automatic gearbox. This will give me 136 HP.

But I might also be able to purchase a early 606 Turbo Diesel engine comming from an AMG. The engine is not in a car and the diesel pump is non-original and mechanical. Seems like the part number on the diesel pump indicates that it comes from a non-diesel 603 engine. It has numbers PES 6M 320 RS 156, 0 400 076 994, 603 070 01 01 ER 0007.

Typical part number taken on a friends 603 with turbo version is Bosch 0 400 076 961, MB 603 070 02 01
and also codes like PES 6M 55C320 RS157 -1

Similar for the non-turbo 606 engine I got:
0 400 076 954, 606 070 03 01 ER 0044 , PES 6M 55C 320 RS 203

Understand that the turbo version might be got some pressure control to avoid black smoke. Also that there is different version for manual and automatic cars.
Does anyone know the difference on the 603 injection pumps on the non-turbo and turbo?
Is it mechanical parts inside or on the outside that can be replaced, or only adjustment\set-up?

Does anyone have an overview and know the meaning of the C and RS codes?

Appreciate any input.

best regards

Rolf
