 SMOKING 310D? HELP BEFORE I GO BACK TO TRANSITS
Ok i know this aint a new van by a long shot but compared to a ford transit it was the bees knees for all of 700mile. Its a 1999 310LWB Van, ran fine for the first week then just started smoking and loss of power. Ive had a mechanic out and there was 9 faults on the computer. When faults cleared glow plug fault appered within a few seconds. Also when you turn ignition on there is no heater plug light, but once started the light stays on for a few minutes. Mechanic said wiring fault but wiring looks ok. Van will run for a few miles fine then starts smoking. What should i do. |
