It was definitely an interesting race and two of the six Mercedes powered cars (BrawnGP, McLaren, Force India) took the top two spots. Quite a debut for the BrawnGP team (formerly Honda). The race is worth watching during the Sunday afternoon rebroadcast. The racing action is not over until the last few laps, so it is definitely worth watching the whole race! Lewis Hamilton drove well and took advantage of other's bad luck to drive from the back of the field to 4th. Kovalainen was knocked out at the first corner when he was caught up in a wreck. Let's hope the rest of the season is as unpredictable and exciting.

So pleased to see Jenson Button and Rubens bring Brawn home to a 1-2. I've always thought Button was a class act waiting for a car to show it. Seemed like his own poor choices and Honda's management mess had blown it for him so today must be sweet.

I hope the Hamilton knockers will give him some credit. Yes, third is probably mis-representative of where he should have ended if others had realized this is grand prix racing not bumper cars but I thought Lewis was brilliant and it must give McLaren a huge lift.

Go Jenson :thumbsup::D

Hope this result doesn't sway the appeals group towards helping Ferrari :crybaby2: out! (Would such a thing happen!?:rolleyes:

Thought Rubens comment about the shunt breaking his diffuser on the opening lap was a definite jab at the "...breaking the intention of the rules..." group.
