 HELP - What's wrong with my car!
Hello out there. I have a semi-automatic A160 which I love. I've had it for about three years now and it has been completely trouble free ... until now. Lately as I am driving along it just shuts down but starts up again no problem. However 2 days ago it did this again but did not start up again this time. I had to call the RAC for help. He took about 1 hr and 45 mins to get there and of course as he tried it, it started. I then continued to drive it home with him following me and a mile before I got home it stalled again and this time it would not start up. I had to be towed home but as I was parking it, I tried to start it and it started again. The RAC man thinks that it may be the 'starter sensor?' because it runs fine but stops when it gets hot and after about 20 mins after it cools down it is fine again. I took it to our local garage and he says that it's not the sensor but the starter engine to which I freaked! He is obviously taking me for a fool as there is no problem with it starting up.
Any ideas what could be wrong with it ..... please! |
