| Hey there, I am really distressed to hear of your experiences with your dealership; I have worked for Benz for 15 years and have never heard of this type of situation. Why would a dealership schedule 6-8 weeks out; thats rediculous by any standard. I work for a dealership and we have NEVER scheduled anyone that long out. What are you supposed to do if your car goes into limp home mode; you cant drive the car for 2 miles, much less be expected to wait for 6-8 weeks for service. I dont know what the offficial policy is on U S cars being worked on, in Canada, or vice versa. I do know that cars that are "european delivery" are despised by dealerships in the U S, because the have different wiring schematics, and in some cases have different smog equipment and settings pre set by the factory, and cannot be changed by any independant shop or dealership. Dont let a bad experience turn you off of a great brand, just find a reputable dealership or independant shop. Take care, Ron
