I have been reading this forum in the past few days about HID kit and Projector Headlight for my SLK 320 '03 and people keep talking about Plug and Play HID Kit and I am wondering how. Am i missing something?
Here are my questions.
1) The stock(original) headlight got H7 bulbs. I bought the Projector headlight and it got H1 bulbs. I want to buy MTEC HID because I heard they are the best... no CPU error...... MTEC HID Kit bulbs are H7, I am wondering if they can sell H1 bulbs with H7 harness(connectors)? Can you guys give me some inputs on this? Anyone got any problem buying the wrong bulbs?
2) I am looking in the back of my projector headlights and I see 1 harness(connector) for both the high beam and low beam. Does the HID kit comes with a splitter or something? So high and low beam will be separated out, or do I have to cut some wires to get both high and low beam to work?
3) I am trying to buy something that is just plug and play so I don't have to cut anything. If you guys know some place selling good plug and play HID Kit. Please recommend.
