 06 SLK is Nice !!!
Good choice on the 06 SLK... I had my eyes on that car too, but needed a little more room.. so the CLK was my choice!
SLK is a lighter weight car so it should get way over 30 mpg if you keep the pedal OFF the metal, which is hard to do in such a FUN car!
On the 06 CLK cars, you pull hard upwards on the air cleaner popping it off ... then turn it over and unscrew the zillion screws holding down the two air filter housing! Be careful putting the housing back on as it can be misaligned and not sit flush together. Then push the air filter back down over the engine. |
