UK and lkfoster, thanks for the replies. I need to put two mountain bikes on the rack and be able to still drive +/- 80mph without worrying if the rack will hold. Therefore I can't afford to rig up something custom that might fail since I dont trust my own rigging skillz if you will

Yakima has a nice setup but that means I would have to reinvest atleast $400 for a new setup (feet, load bars, racks, fairing). I still can not believe that THULE does not have one for the W203 (side note: MB produced 630,000 W203's)
