Hi quenter
I don't think the B 200 (gas / petrol ) has an oil level light but just uses the tried and true pressure sensor. You did not mention what grade/weight of oil you used last time maybe it was to light???? Some engine's just use oil but keep a close watch for the next while, remember when you checked the oil level every gas fill??
My local dealer's mechanic recommends 5w/40 and the dealer uses Quaker State for oil changes. I am due for a change (aren't we all

) and for the extra cost will use Mobil 0w/40. This has the higher MB specification as well as being top rated by several reports including the Oil Bible in it's category. The 0W part will give good low temperature protection as well as better gas mileage, the 40 weight will give excellent high speed / temperature protection.
